Quinn had the distinct pleasures of being raised in Canada while forging an artistic sensibility shaped by American pop culture. The 80s made Quinn love all things childish and cartoon.
The 90s gave him his alternative edge. In the new millennium, he became a cinephile. As a director, Quinn has a journalistic approach that is highlighted by his ability to use and abuse all he has learned over the years. He was off to an auspicious start when his Ryerson Film School thesis short premiered at the New York Independent Film Festival, and he’s been going strong ever since.
His passion on set makes visible his belief that directing is not a job; it’s a way of life.
